ST.PETERSBURG SOUND MUSEUM

St. Petersburg Sound Museum is a project of Techno Art Centre, the noncommercial organization, based at the "Pushkinskaya 10" Art Centre since 1994.

The museum is a continuation of the Experimental Sound Gallery (ESG-21), which has been operating since 1999 - a cultural initiative engaged in the creation, study and promotion of contemporary experimental music, laboratory research with sound, with author's musical instruments and sound production techniques. In 2015, on the basis of ESG-21, an interactive Sound Museum was created, which includes rare and unique experimental instruments, author's graphic scores, archive recordings from concerts and a sound map of St. Petersburg.

The museum's regular activities includes concerts of contemporary music, lectures, exhibitions, master classes, and creative meetings.
